Insurance Coverage

Houston Fertility Specialists is proud to be providers in the Optum Healthcare Reproductive Resources Services Center of Excellence and the Aetna Infertility Center of Excellence networks. Our clinic is one of the only Optum Centers of Excellence in Houston, which is United Healthcare’s Infertility Network.

While it is true that many insurance plans do not cover the full cost of some infertility treatments, most plans cover the initial consultation and diagnostic evaluation. Our personal financial specialists can help you understand your insurance benefits and the cost of your treatments.

We are in network with most major insurance providers. Below is a partial listing of some of the insurance networks we are contracted with.

  • United Healthcare
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Cigna
  • Humana
  • PHCS
  • Multiplan
  • Aetna
  • Progyny
  • Aetna Whole Health (Only Dr. Subodh Chauhan)
  • Memorial Hermann Network (Only Dr. Subodh Chauhan)
  • Community Health Choice (Only Dr. Subodh Chauhan)

If you do not see your insurance plan listed, please contact one of our financial specialists and they will be happy to assist you.

Are you a self pay patient? Ask about our complimentary fertility consultations at our Katy, Clear Lake and Fannin locations.

If your plan does not cover fertility medications, contact your prescription benefit provider to check fertility coverage. Your financial specialist at Houston Fertility Specialists will provide you with a medication coverage form that will assist you with this process.
